Mezinárodní sdružení GSM Association (GSMA) vydalo prohlášení, podle kterého operátoři přišli na způsob jak snadno zabezpečit GSM sítě proti odposlechům mobilních telefonů. Reagují tak na německého počítačového experta Karstena Nohla, který minulý týden na internetu zveřejnil detaily tajného kódu používaného při šifrování hovorů více než čtyř miliard uživatelů mobilních telefonů na světě.
