Alam560 Odesláno před 5 hodinami Nahlásit Odesláno před 5 hodinami Lachlann is an intimidating gatekeeper through Path of Exile 2's early campaign, a boss meant to impart to players the value of pattern recognition rather than sheer force. Lots of exiles stall here, stopped dead by his constant, anguish-driven attacks. Frittering away your PoE 2 Currency on frequent repairs due to not learning him is an unpleasant experience that you do not want. The combat starts with Lachlann using a series of wide melee combo sweeps. His greatsword is intimidating, but the wind-ups are telegraphed through clear visual and audio signals. Here, the trick is positioning; keeping close to him or behind is safer than standing directly in front. He will often incorporate a ground-directed slam that creates a very small, active circle of ghost energy. The fight gets more complicated around the two-third health mark for Lachlann. That is when he starts bringing out his signature "Lament" mechanics. He will routinely bound to the middle of the arena and start to channel, calling forth waves of growing, ring-shaped aoes that flow outward. These are not haphazard; these waves follow fixed patterns with areas that are safe between the waves. You are not trying to run away from these, but rather, move through these gaps calmly. At the same time, he will call forth ethereal, melancholy spirits that move slowly through the arena. Damage from these spirits is extensive and an unpleasant slow. The "Endless Lament" is what these are. You now need to divide your attention between the direct damage attacks from Lachlann, the ground aoes, and the placement of the spirits. It is possible to kite him around the periphery of the room to bunch up the spirits, giving you a safer area to move through with the time of his channeled damage. The final phase, typically below one-third health, sees all these mechanics combined at a faster pace. Lachlann becomes more aggressive, his melee combos are longer, and the spectral aoes erupt more frequently. This is the ultimate test of your composure. The most common cause of death is becoming overwhelmed by the layered mechanics and making a desperate move into a spirit or another aoe. Focus on dealing damage in short, controlled bursts. Beating Lachlann is very rewarding since it demonstrates that you've learned the fundamental principles of Path of Exile 2 combat. It's a dance step, attack and retreat, space and patience. Getting the hang of this battle early in the game lays a great foundation for the later, far more complicated bosses. The skills that you develop here are worth more than any individual piece of gear, saving you potential PoE 2 Currency buy spent on preventable repairs and imparting to you the knowledge that.
